Howdy! I’m Zak, the Pet Sitter.

Who am I?

Who I am, and why I do what I do.

My name is Zachariah Stratton, originally born up north in Indiana but gradually moved south to Texas during my childhood. I've lived here for over 15 years now, studied and got my Bachelors in Computer Science from Texas A&M University in 2019. I worked for multiple years in the software industry, working on everything from websites to image generators to 3D modeling at a rapidly growing startup.

Eventually I began to lose passion for the job, spending day after day just chasing more and more money didn't sit right with me. I wanted to work somewhere that made me happy just to be around, so I left. And it took a while, but I found what makes me happy, and its my animals. I have a special affinity for cats as I've had close relations with them my entire life, but I love all animals.

I've got many pet lifetimes under my belt now and a lot of experience dealing with all sorts of issues. I've given medication, command trained, provided wound care, bathing, etc. and have no problem dealing with larger animals (Like my mother's 90 lb lap dog). My pets are always and have always been my number 1 priority, no matter what else is going on in my life.

I've set up my pricing in a way that you can combine any option to get the specific care that your pet needs. A few examples of ways my services can be fit into your schedule are:

Those who are busy with daily activities but not fully away from home may prioritize drop-ins and walks much more without needing to pay for overnight care.

Services & Pricing

Pet Sitting

I offer multiple different options for Pet Sitting in order to accomidate various working and life schedules.

Drop-Ins are short, 30 minute to 1 hour length visits ideal for those looking for someone to check on their animals, feed them, give medication, and/or have some social interaction while they are away from home.
Overnight Stays are 10 hour intervals booked overnight, perfect for socially sensitive pets that don't do well sleeping alone or require extra care or attention throughout the night.

These can be combined as well, to provide drop ins care during the day as well as peace of mind at night.
